General description
AV168 wireless media processor provides many solutions for video and image application. Its core features are ISP (Image signal processing) and MJPEG encoder, with built-in JPEG data buffer for one VGA pictures. AV168 supports the wireless RF transceiver interface (e.g. 2Mb/s) so it can be used as both wireless camera (cam site) and USB dongle( pc site).
On the wireless camera site it takes both audio and video, compress them and transmit through 2.4Ghz wireless RF transceiver. On the PC site it receives audio/video through 2.4Ghz wireless RD transceiver, and process the a/v stream to PC via USB2.0 bus.
In this wireless application it allows 2-ways data/audio and 1-way video flow on the wireless transmission. With its support of both USB video and audio class (UVC and UAC) that it links any video camera device to PC through RF wireless transmission and a video camera becomes more portable than ever before.
