General description
AV218 RS232 camera controller provides many solutions for video and image application. Its core features are ISP (Image signal processing) and MJPEG encoder, with built-in JPEG data buffer for one VGA pictures. With its RS232 interface it is used in security camera market as ISP+JPEG image process and video compression chip. The OSD, RTC and motion detection features are supported to enhance its camera security function.
