AV330
General description
AV330C video processor provides many solutions for video and image application. Its core features are ISP (Image signal processing) and MJPEG encoder, with built-in JPEG data buffer for one VGA pictures. With its standard CCIR601/656 output it can be used in cellular phone or mobile camera market as ISP+JPEG image process and video compression chip. The built-in JPEG data buffer and RS232 interface supports this ASIC to be used as RS232 interface security camera. With its USB2.0 controller and its support of both USB video and audio class, it is a PC camera controller. With the built-in SDHC card interface that this ASIC is a mini DV controller which can store both audio and video (VGA@30fps) in the popular T-flash card whose size can reach more than 16GB. The mini DV controller is also a high speed USB card reader.
AV330C also support the wireless RF transceiver interface (e.g. 2Mb/s) so it can be used as both wireless camera and USB dongle. In this wireless application it allows 2-ways data/audio and 1-way video flow on the wireless transmission. With its support of both USB video and audio class (UVC and UAC) that it links any video camera device to PC through RF wireless transmission and a video camera becomes more portable than ever before.
