General description
AV318S is USB2.0 camera controller. It has all 318E
functions. Besides, 256 bytes OTP (one-time programmable) memory is
built in. Default sensor PID&VID, property page value & lens
correction can be modified through OTP.
AV318E is USB2.0 camera controller mainly for external PC Cam
market. It can use XP/Vista/Win7 built-in USB video class. ROM is
designed to allow smaller size (1/2/4KB) EEPROM for 1M & VGA sensor,
therefore, reduce BOM cost. That’s not all. 318E adds the new
function- HW button trigged special effect on UVC. No driver is
needed to have special effect.
AV301W-XG6 is USB2.0 camera controller. Its small size can be
used for compact camera module dimension and mainly for notebook
built-in. It has the same function as AV318E except 2 less pin
count.
AV306i-XG6 is USB2.0 camera controller. It has the AV318E
function plus the USB audio class support. Audio supports up to
Vista’s dual Microphone array feature through an external I2S codec.
